Viola Tricolor (n) - a hybrid cultivated garden plant commonly known as pansy identified by its two overlapping upper petals, two side petals, and a single bottom petal with a slight beard.
This print takes inspiration from antique botanical illustrations. Each pansy has been hand painted in watercolour before being digitally printed in the UK onto 300gsm recycled card using eco-friendly inks.
Inside are 76 lined pages, made from 90gsm recycled paper, perfect for jotting down notes, ideas, dreams and doodles. Notebooks are packed 'naked' and plastic-free, with a decorative kraft paper bellyband that makes them perfect for gifting. Our Lined Journals are A5 in size and are chunkier than our plain notebooks, but are still lightweight and perfect for field notes on the go.

” Inspired by naturalists of days gone by, Bison Bindery was founded to encourage the timeless craft of putting pen to paper, and to provide stationery for all those fascinated by the world around them. Bison Bindery designs celebrate flora and fauna from around the world, on products that aim to preserve the environment for generations to come. I (Maddie) work with the guiding principle that the art I create shouldn't harm the very subject that I am painting, which is why all of my products are made from sustainable materials that will do no harm to the environment.”
